# MVM — Minimum Viable Metric

> Measured AI answer-engine visibility: what the models say when real questions are asked, with attributable evidence.

Each purchase is one measurement experiment: Precision Measurement (your known questions, sampled per model) or Discovery Intelligence (adaptive field mapping from seed questions), optionally with Search Tandem observations. The deliverable is a report, an executive brief, a PDF and the complete response-level CSV.

## Pricing (USD)
Each experiment is quoted server-side from its frozen intake (method, models, responses, Search Tandem). The quote is returned by POST /api/entities/{entityId}/runs/preview as pricing.price_usd and is exactly what the order charges. Every purchaser pays the same quote for the same experiment.

## Buying as an agent
1. POST /account/create (JSON: email, password, password_confirmation, name) → bearer token. Or POST /account/login.
2. GET /api/session → account.id; POST /api/customer-accounts/{account.id}/entities {name} → entity.id.
3. GET /api/providers for model ids; POST /api/entities/{entity.id}/runs/preview with the intake until findings_ready is true.
4. POST /api/entities/{entity.id}/runs/checkout with the same intake plus collection "send_invoice" → order_id, invoice {id, amount_remaining}, pay links.
5. Pay the invoice: POST /api/entities/{entity.id}/checkout/{order_id}/pay {shared_payment_token} (Stripe shared payment token),
   or over the Machine Payments Protocol (HTTP 402, method "stripe"): POST /pay/orders/{order_id} with an MPP wallet.
6. Poll GET /api/entities/{entity.id}/checkout/{order_id} for run_id, then GET /api/measurement-runs/{run_id} until complete; GET /api/measurement-runs/{run_id}/responses.csv for the evidence.
Nothing is measured before the invoice is paid; an unpaid invoice is simply never fulfilled. By initiating a purchase you represent that you act within authority lawfully granted by the account holder, or with funds and credentials you are legally entitled to use.
